About Our Location
After opening the doors in 1979, Tom and Cheryl Annen made Country Kitchen a staple of the Warrensburg community. I, John Frye, have co-owned and managed the location since 1996. And while Warrensburg is not my hometown, it definitely feels like home with my wife Angela, three kids, and of course my CK family, all around me! I love that every day here is different and that I have the opportunity to meet so many interesting people. I am proud of the CK tradition and grateful to be a part of our guests’ daily lives. Nothing brings a bigger smile to my face than when a guest shares that they visited here as a kid and that they now bring their children, or even grandchildren, here when they’re hungry for life’s simple pleasures like the Mr. Chippy. We love supporting the community by sponsoring UCM athletics, hosting fundraisers for local schools and organizations, and providing military discounts every day.
