About Our Location
Opened by Craig and Dawn Dougherty in 2004. Dawn and I both grew up in the Dodgeville area, became high school sweethearts, and both graduated from Riverdale High School. We now have two daughters, and of course, can’t forget our dog, Bobo! My father worked as an iron worker at the House on the Rock for 20 years and helped build the World’s Largest Carousel and the Infinity Room. Dawn and I enjoy telling his stories to travelers that pass through our restaurant. Our family is big Packer and Badger fans and love to travel when we can find time.
In early 2019, we transitioned to the Café by Country Kitchen concept, which allows us to concentrate on what we do best—breakfast all day!
